Children’s Books reviewed by

Dr. Becky Butler

11 years of book reviews of children’s books based on social issues not always disability, but disability is a prime focus and personal interest.  If children with disabilities can’t see themselves represented in books, how are they to be expected to learn and grow as valued members of society?
How also, are non-disabled children to be expected to learn that disability is a normal part of life if they don’t see it in books they read?
